(1953, 1964, 1982,1990, 2000) (Electronic Version) The University of Michigan China Data Center is pleased to offer the electronic version of “China Historical County Population Census Data with GIS Maps”. The CD product
includes the population Census data at county level for 1953, 1964, 1982, 1990
and 2000, integrated with the Other Census
data products are also available at the center, which include (1) The Completed Collection of National and Provincial
Population Census Data Assembly; (2)
The Complete Collection of 2000 County/District
Population Census Data Assemblies with more than 330,000 tables for 2,876
counties and districts in China; (3) 2000 China Township Population Census
Data with GIS Maps, which include more than 2000 variables from 2000
population Census, and GIS maps in Shape file format at province, county, and
township levels with all tables and place names in both English and Chinese; (4) 2000 China
County Population Census Data with County Maps (in English), which includes 2000
county boundary GIS map with more than 1,900 population variables from 2000
census data for counties and urban districts.; and (5) 2000 China
Province Population Census Data with Province Map (in English), which includes 2000 provincial boundary GIS map with more than 5000 variables integrated with the province map. All above CD
products are exclusively distributed by the UM
